# Contrast

The Contrast adjustment gives you fine-grained control over the contrast in your image, allowing you to change the contrast in different intensity bands.

**Shadows, Midtones, Highlights**\
Increase or decrease the contrast in these regions. There is some overlap in these intensity regions to provide a smooth transition.
