# Color Temperature

The Color Temperature tool is closely related to white balance. It is very useful for ensuring that whites appear neutral and not tinted. If an image looks too warm (orange) or too cool (blue), this tool can correct the problem.

**Temperature (Kelvin)**\
This slider sets the color temperature. Lower values produce a warmer, more orange image, while higher values produce a cooler, more blue image.

**Preserve contrast and saturation**\
When selected, this option tries to maintain the original image's contrast and saturation.

**High accuracy**\
When this option is selected, the adjustment will also affect the contrast and saturation, but will provide the most accurate result.
